The All Knowing

Once upon a time,
there was a single ball of light. This was what humans perceive as a star. A wish for people to pray. People would call upon a higher power for a wish. But this wish was during a crisis.For this was no ordinary star that was wished upon. Born of human construct, the sprite was the only light in the dark world. The more they believed, the lighter the sprite became.This sprite grew until it became so bright that it pierced the shadowed world with its light. With a New Era, the world named them “The All-Knowing”, Tak for short, although that is a name that was mostly written in scripture.Tak looked over the people of The New World. Their guidance on life, death, and fulfillment. Over time, people’s beliefs on Tak’s legacy caused disagreement. Some civilians disagreed with Tak’s limited locations of solitude. “They are gatekeeping Tak so only the rich can afford to live in a safe city!”Others began to believe Tak was a hoax. This enraged and corrupted Tak’s light.Tak decided to ascend back to the skies,
look over the people, and fully spread light to the world. His departure left their followers confused, and some didn’t believe anymore. To avoid Tak’s light from dimming out, Tak descended 20 blessings to those worthy of godhood.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

The Mystic Carte

These gods would gather at Tak’s home, The Tower, every hundred years. Together, they bring the world into balance. Sometimes, the All-Knowing will appear at these meetings (or so it is told) if they feel like it, or if there is an emergency.If a God dies, the trail of the Fool's Journey begins.Before this trial is officiated by the Mystic Carte, a candidate must be agreed upon before the next century.Decenders, more known as “The Mystic Carte”, are descendants Tak’s existence. The Mystic Carte are the “Official Gods” to society.

The Corrupt

"The difference between the corrupt and another person is Reason. Once reason is gone, there is nothing but desire. That is the core of a corrupt being. No thoughts, a desire to reach a goal, no matter what it takes...Destruction and madness."The corrupt during the dark ages overran the world. Once TAK blessed the world, the new age began. Although....Corruption always lingers. When TAK returned to the skies, and the mystic carte took over, the infection was more common. Although it doesn't compare to the Dark Ages, it's still a danger to the people
 The Corrupt takes many forms, yet originates from the Hated Roots that reach past the soil. Core shrooms are the most toxic, which can cause harm at any contact. Inhaling Coreshroom spores isn't deadly. If a chain of coreshrooms spread the spores, your humanity is as good as gone.Roots, vines, and thorns are susceptible to being infected with the Hated Roots.Once infected, the body can transform into inhuman forms, limbs and muscles twisted. Direct contact with the veins, blood, or lungs can lead to transformation, rotting, and/or death.Those rare few who can endure the pain and agony of the corrupt may notice an increase in strength and control over the corrupt. It is not advised to try. 1 in 10000 people succeed.

Goliath Spider

During the dark ages, Goliath spiders had their own domain in lucidium. They lived in trees and caves in cool forests.There was a war between the Fae and the Humans. The Goliath spiders were cavalry and proud warriors. This was the worst time as the corrupt interfered the most. With the shared fear of the corrupt, Fae, Man, and Spiders joined forces to defend against the evil. The darkest time arrived.Only the queen remained...Then the all-knowing arrived.The goliath spider queen died not long afterward. She left one gift to the world...an egg. Born from Drow and Spider...the High Priestess was born.

Wolf Stag

Long ago, a wolf came upon a deer in the process of rotting from the corruption. Hunters documented the sight and observed the deer's antlers grow rapidly. With the corrupt antlers impaling the wolf, it merged into one creature. This 9-foot monstrosity lingers in the world. Multiple wolf stags have evolved as more sightings occur.Alchemists have theorized that corruption itself is sentient or has a hive mind system. Studies are still in place.

Sprites on their own are small, bright, flying beings. If one finds you in distress, they will take the form of something you need most. This can be an object, person, or creature.Depending on an individual's mana, the sprite can mimic someone almost perfectly.
 
Sprite weapons are common for adventurers who find themselves in danger

3 birds born from ashes roamed the world. Each with special abilities

The blue and robin have spread the tale of the raven phoenix, all they reveal is"The Black flame isn't worthy of this world. Prove not just to your gods, but to the raven."No one knows if the raven really exists. But having a blessing from a phoenix is desired.
 
As a phoenix's flames diminish, it will chose a host to receive its power. Once that host dies, their body must be burned for the powers to be passed onto a worthy host. Forcing the bird to leave its host (burning them alive or their corpse) will not make that perpatrator the new host.There has been only one occurrence when someone cursed by a dragon was blessed by a phoenix. Robin and blue phoenix flames protect ,unlike the cursed fire from dragon's breath.
